And they assign to Allah out of what He produced of the crops and the cattle a share and they say, "This (is) for Allah," by their claim, "And this (is) for our partners." AND OUT OF whatever He has created of the fruits of the field and the cattle, they assign unto God a portion, saying, "This belongs to God"-or so they [falsely] claim - "and this is for those beings who, we are convinced, have a share in God's divinity." But that which is assigned to the beings associated in their minds with God does not bring [them] closer to God - whereas that which is assigned to God brings [them but] closer to those beings to whom they ascribe a share in His divinity. Bad, indeed, is their judgment
They assign unto Allah, of the crops and cattle which He created, a portion, and they say: "This is Allah's" - in their make-believe - "and this is for (His) partners in regard to us." Thus that which (they assign) unto His partners in them reacheth not Allah and that which (they assign) unto Allah goeth to their (so-called) partners. Evil is their ordinance
Out of what Allah hath produced in abundance in tilth and in cattle, they assigned Him a share: they say, according to their fancies: "This is for Allah, and this" - for our "partners"! but the share of their" partners "reacheth not Allah, whilst the share of Allah reacheth their "partners" ! evil (and unjust) is their assignment
And they set apart a portion for Allah out of what He has created of tilth and cattle, and say: This is for Allah-- so they assert-- and this for our associates; then what is for their associates, it reaches not to Allah, and whatever is (set apart) for Allah, it reaches to their associates; evil is that which they judge
They set aside for God a share in what He has produced, such as crops and livestock, and they say, This is for God'so they claim!and this is for our associate-God's? Their associate-God's share does not reach God, whereas God's share reaches their associate-God's. How ill they judge
And they assigned to God of what He made numerous of cultivation and flocks a share. Then, they said in their claim: This is for God and this is for our ascribed associates. But what had been ascribed for their associates then, reaches not out to God and what had been ascribed for God then, reaches out to their associates. How evil is the judgment they give!
They grant God a share in what He has produced such as crops and livestock, and they say: "This is God´s,´ according to their claim, and: "This is our associates´." Anything that is meant for their associates never reaches God, while what is God´s reaches their associates (too); how evil is whatever they decide!
The pagans set aside for Allah a share of the crops and cattle He created, saying, “This ˹portion˺ is for Allah,” so they claim, “and this ˹one˺ for our associate-gods.” Yet the portion of their associate-gods is not shared with Allah while Allah’s portion is shared with their associate-gods. What unfair judgment!

Then (acting in what they deem to their own interest), what is assigned for their "associate-deities" does not reach God, while what is assigned for God reaches their "associate-deities." They dedicate to Allah out of what He has created of the crops and cattle a portion, and say, ‘This is for Allah,’ so do they maintain, ‘and this is for our partners.’ But what is for their partners does not reach Allah, and what is for Allah reaches their partners. They set apart a portion for Allah, from that which He raises in abundance, of tilth and of cattle, and they say, according to their fancies "This is for Allah and this is for (His) partner." But the share of their "partners" reaches
And they made for Allah of whatever tillage and cattle that He propagated, an assignment; so they said, "This is for Allah, " according to their assertion, and, "This is for Allah" according to their assertion, and, "This is for our associates." (i.e., what they associate with Allah) So, whatever is for their associates does not get to Allah, and whatever is for Allah, then (this is what) gets to their associates. Odious is whatever (way) they judge
They set aside a share of the left-overs of their farming produce and cattle saying, "This is for God and that is for the idols." God does not receive the share of the idols but the share of God is given totally to the idols. How terrible is their decision
They have assigned a portion for Allah from the tillage and the cattle created by Him, and then said, .This is for Allah., so they claim, .And this is for our associate-gods. Then, that which is allocated for their associate-gods never reaches Allah, while that which is allocated for Allah does reach their associate-gods. Evil is what they judge
(How can their program succeed when their belief system and the resulting actions are wrong?) They set aside a portion of Allah's provision of crops and cattle and claim, "This is for Allah, and this is for our idols." But the share of their idols never reaches Allah, and the share of Allah does reach their idols. What an unjust decision they make! (Their priesthood devours both portions of their making, and the poor remain wanting. To Allah reaches what you spend on the needy (6:141))
And out of what Allah has produced in plenty as crops and as cattle, they assigned Him a share: And they say, according to their wish: "This is for Allah, and this— For Our ‘partners’!" But the share of their ‘partners’ does not reach Allah, whereas, the share of Allah reaches their ‘partners’! Evil (and unjust) is how they judge
And the polytheists assign to Allah from that which He created of crops and livestock a share and say, "This is for Allah ," by their claim, " and this is for our partners [associated with Him]." But what is for their "partners" does not reach Allah , while what is for Allah - this reaches their "partners." Evil is that which they rule
They set aside a share of their produce and of their cattle for Allah, saying: "This is for Allah" - so they pretend - "and this for our shoraka' (their assigned partners of Allah)." Their shoraka's share does not reach Allah, but the share of Allah is wholly given to shoraka'. What an evil decision they make

And they have assigned ALLAH a portion of the crops and cattle which HE has produced, and they say, `This is for ALLAH,' -so they assert - `and this is for our associate-gods.' They even set aside a share of GOD's provisions of crops and livestock, saying, "This share belongs to GOD," according to their claims, "and this share belongs to our idols." However, what was set aside for their idols never reached GOD, while the share they set aside for GOD invariably went to their idols. Miserable indeed is their judgment.

They make a claim in saying, “This is for Allah, and this is for the associates [the false gods].” The share for their associates [with Allah] does not reach Allah, but the share for Allah reaches the associates. What they do is evil.
